I want Grandma and Grandpa to see it.....

Ever since Joseph first put Abigail into the grocery cart she like to ride.  Sometimes she will get in herself and then start calling for someone to come push..... plus she can't get herself back out.  So this was going on while I was getting lunch ready today.

We went outside after supper today.  Thought I would let them run, play and get tired.  Joseph was pulling Abigail around in the wagon then I pulled them both.  We went out to see if there were any more calves... there are now two that we could see.  On the way back Joseph must have had his hand around the wheel and when I moved forward his hand went under.  Not sure really how it happened but I felt like I ran over something, looked back in time to see Joseph pulling his had up and started crying then I saw the blood.  I'm really not good with this kind of thing.  I had my cell phone and called Dan...... he met us at the door and took over from there.   Half of the nail was ripped off.  Dan cleaned it really good and then applied super glue to seal it.  He has done it many times to himself, I've heard of others doing it and even let him do me not long ago.......BUT..... it was hard to allow him to do it to our child.   Before we put bandaids on he said he want Grandma and Grandpa to see his hand.  So this is for the two Grandmas and Grandpa. (sorry Dad you have to look at it.... I did)

This is what Joseph likes to do at the library.  Play games on the computer.

Well, you know what Aunt Glenda has to say: I hope along with the super glue that you put on a heavy dose of triple antibiotic ointment! (Being good parents, I'm sure you did, I hope, I hope) Glad to see the part about cleaning it really good and kudos to Dan for his part in all this! Please watch it for infection. Looks pretty nasty so can't blame you too much Wanda for not wanting to look at it. I'm sure dad (Grandpa) really enjoyed it, too!
