Two pictures that are close

in age
Joseph was about 5 days old and

Abigail at 9 days old.

I need to take some more pictures

of Abigail close up to compare them

with Joseph.

Many have mentioned how much they look alike. When I first held her I thought she looked so much different from Joseph. Now I can see a big resemblance across the eyes. Its in the eyes where they look like Dan. Joseph was identical to my baby picture but not Abigail. I think she looks more like a picture I saw of Dan.

Dad's 75th Birthday Party............

My brother Steve e-mailed a few pictures from Dad's birthday
celebration. They surprised him............ Steve and Audrey took
him out to eat after meeting then when they got back to the house my two sisters and some of their family were there. He was surprised!

I'm just sorry Mom couldn't be there too............. and of course
it would have been nice to have been there myself.

Another year.............. and another headstand............... at 75.

Guess this one was a bit more exciting......... according to Dad

a good thing Mom wasn't there..........

Grandma Millie, Joseph,

Grandma Mary and Abigail

Grandma Millie and Uncle Jim came down Friday afternoon and
stayed till Sunday afternoon.

We didn't get any pictures of Uncle Jim with Abigail......... why is it
with the second one your not as camera happy. Seems we have a
picture of Joseph with everyone that stopped by.

Happy Birthday Dad! Sorry we have Mom "tied" up here and you have to spend your birthday alone.

I don't know when we are going to let her leave.............

Now we are go to get some more snow....... I think somewhere between

6' to 9'.

Oh, sorry Dad........ I think I made a bit of a typo up above................ it is 6" to 9" of snow. My how one missing mark can make a little difference or I should say a big difference.

Brian and Heather brought Joseph up on Sunday after meeting.

Joseph enjoyed his time with Brian and Heather. We enjoyed it
too........... knowing we didn't have to worry about him. There
were quite a few who said they would be glad to watch him for us.

Brian and Heather brought Joseph up later in the afternoon
on Saturday.

A very proud Daddy!!! I really didn't have to tell you that......

From the looks of the clock she must be almost 50 minutes old.

She is finally here!!!!

She is trying to put a face to the voice she
has been hearing for the past months.

As you can see.............. I am happy!!

Last Doctor Visit..............

Felt funny leaving the doctors office without making another appointment. I'm a good 3 plus and he says it could be anytime. Hope she waits till Saturday! Yet in some ways having her a week before my due date doesn't seem fair or right............. like maybe I'm cheating. Who is to say she would wait till the 19th.......... Anyway we are scheduled for Saturday 13th if all goes well.
The doctor asked me if I had any guess on the weight. I said no do you? I just hop she is less than Joseph. He felt around, thought maybe upper 7 pounds or 8. The he did the pelvic exam, said her head was pretty far down so changed his guess to low 8's. So we will see.............. I don't feel or feel I look as big as I did with Joseph............. I've just been more miserable. Dan has decided to guess upper 8's and me.......... well I don't know what to guess........... maybe 8 pounds even. I think she is smaller because she moves around much more than Joseph did. I know what you all are thinking.................... we are having a hyper child.............

Not much difference..........

Had my appointment today and not much has changed. I'm almost 3 now so guess you would say between 2 to 3. Looks like we are scheduled for next weekend if nothing happens before then. Only gained a couple ounces in a weeks time. My weight now is 172.8. I can't remember how much I was when I started out. Probably put on 32 pounds maybe. Seems like a lot for just an 8 pound baby. No I don't know her weight but just imaging her being smaller than Joseph.
The doctor shook hands with Baby Swonger today. He felt her head and a hand. Told Dan that and he wondered if they shook.
So............. that is all the news we have here. Next appointment is the 9th.
