Here We Go Again......

 This past Sunday we tried to get some more pictures........

Believe me....... it is very trying.......




This one isn't too bad.......

Decided to try them sitting on a stool in front of the door

 Yes...... it is a moving stool...... and yes I should have
figured this would happen.......

 Just before our special meeting we received a box
in the mail from one of our friends......
This coat and hat was in there...... so far she has worn it 3 times.  I was afraid with April and warmer weather she might not get to wear it much..... ha ha I forgot I do live in WI.    She might even be able to still wear it in the Fall.

I like this one.........  I haven't quite decided on the facial expression yet...... hmmm

Even though she is 14 months old I still haven't got
a "year old" picture....... guess I will use one of these

I took so many more pictures of Joseph when he was a baby........ every month

Oh well......... they won't be still or smile just right...
BUT...... we are making memories.....

A Warm Sunday in April......

 This day, if I remember was Sunday the 10th
and it was very warm..... beautiful.

rides...... maybe the 2nd this year.

Joseph doing great riding his bike.......   I don't really think it will be this year that he goes without the training wheels.....

We headed around the lane to the back of the farm.  At the very back, close to the pond, we came upon a turtle.  (the pond is not a swimming hole or fishing.... you can hardly get to it with all the brush around it.  It must just get the over flow of the creek)

Special Meeting time and family visit.....

 

 We had Duane Topinka for our special visitor for Wednesday night.  Dan had two years with Duane so it was nice to have him in our home.  The bible study was here that week too.  Also..... for my side of the family...... Duane is Debbie's brother...... and Debbie is the wife of Randy who is Dan's brother.

They were not feeling well Sunday morning so left for home when we left for

meeting.  I think Rebecca wasn't sick...... yet......

We had some excitement here late yesterday
afternoon.....

The mulch pile (mountain) caught on fire........
Mulch which consist of chicken poop and sawdust and
whatever else.....
Lucky they were right there when it happened

They set up a "pond" out front and 6 plus tankers
filled it up while the pumper truck what through
the hose.......... it was one long hose......

I took the picture just above the rooster's head....

The ambulances in the back...... one was a Axillary which

had two women passing out drinks and such

You can see the top of the mulch mountain...... it steams
all winter

Here Dave is using the end loader to haul the stuff out and
then the firemen would spray it.......

Then at the end when they got all that was ignited put
out they sprayed it all from the ladder truck

It started when they took a load out and oxygen got

to it and boom....... glad they were right there and it
didn't start in the night

We will see how long it survives.....








I've heard they are easy to care for....... but
after telling a friend that she informed me
that she went through three rather
quickly.......








Bedtime story with Mama.....

We brought the bike back in from storage.....
We got it for Joseph when he was around one.....
then later we flipped the handle back up for

him to peddle..... we never took it outside....
but maybe next summer

Of course it was like a new toy again for Joseph.....
I told him it was Abigail's turn and maybe she

would share...... this is his thought of sharing.....

Last week or was it the first week was Dr Seuss birthday.......

Joseph's class made "Cat in the Hat" hats......
