Joseph's 6th Birthday

Joseph kept talking about having a birthday party with lots of balloons for his birthday.  As any normal parent I wanted to celebrate his birthday for him BUT some things take money (in fact most things do).  The school had a fund raiser for their new playground which was selling tickets to the Country Spring Hotel water park.  The tickets were around $10 cheaper.  We got our tax return right at the time of the fund raiser and decided to get some tickets to go sometime next winter.   Then we decided what better time than Joseph's birthday.

This gets in most of the water activity. That center tube like thing
is for taking the rafts back up..... that is not a straight down ride.
On the right side there is a large bucket that says water.......

Now the water bucket is pouring out....  we stood there a few
times to enjoy the down pour.

Joseph arriving at the end of the smaller big slide

and Abigail.......  she really wasn't sure about going but always
seemed to like it once she was sliding

Me, Abigail and Joseph on the raft ride

Dan coming out of the Cyclone....  the bigger you are the bigger the
SPLASH.   Abigail did not go on this ride nor did she go on the tubing
ride but she did go one river with Daddy on a tube.

HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY TO JOSEPH!!!!!!!!!!

Something for the sandbox!!

Lake time in Delafield

Joseph walking out to floating dock by himself

He made it out there, stood on the dock for a second and
started back down.  I was very surprised he even did this on
his own and even more surprised that Dan let him.  The water
is so low right now it is to our knees to that point.

Daddy and Abigail went out with him the second time
Also the water was like bath water.

July 4th and abouts

I know there are some out there that will frown at this time out picture
BUT I think it is cute.....  Joseph was put in corner time out and Abigail
decided to join him.  She decided to add a hat.

Pretending to be sleeping while Moma finishes up lunch

Joseph set up the train track and built a few buildings

Now don't we look like your "Normal" American family??
We are waiting for the parade to begin and melting in the heat too

Schools out and Summer has begun......

The High School graduates in our area
They always have a picnic in June for all the graduates.
The Graduates send out invitations with an RSVP..... I think everyone probably
gets invited......  we received 5 (out of the 7)

Since Joseph has been home all day Abigail doesn't really like to
take a nap..... so she falls asleep just about anywhere.

Look!!!!!!.... no training wheels!!!

Oops.. turned a bit too quick!
Mama... look at me...  I fall over like Joseph!
(Abigail likes to do everything Joseph does!!)

Up and going again.....   a bit shaky but doing very well!!!!

Helping Mama fold cleaning rags for work

"I help Mama.. don't I?  I like helping"

Last night Abigail took a tumble in the gravel.
Dan said she hardly cried.

Last bit of May

Abigail says she is playing catch with Gunner.
Gunner belongs to Dave who lives across the hall from us.

Gunner is really great with the children and Abigail loves him too.
She and Joseph both seem to like animals but Abigail really
likes hugging them.....  like her cousin Caleb's cat.

Joseph's class had a Spring concert the last week of May.
Here he is waiting to do his part....  I think he was to hold up
a skelton for the song... not sure the song.. maybe walking in the woods??

I was really afraid and almost dreading going because I thought
Joseph would be the loudest.....  boy was I wrong and happy :)

March and April

APRIL

We had two special ladies stop by.  Wanda was leaving
the next morning to return to Kentucky and her Aunt Sharon
brought her over to Milwaukee to catch the flight.  Nice to
get a glimpse of Wanda since we weren't at any of the
special meetings she was in.
Sharon and Anita leave this week.

Joseph decided to do the dishes for me one day.
One of their sweet moments

MARCH

First kite for Joseph.... which he really enjoyed.  It was a very cheap kite but we got some time out of it.  Abigail wanted to turn at it too.

Abigail's first time in a big bed.
