Heart News

Dan got a good report yesterday at the VA in Madison.  His doctor in the Heart Failure Clinic said he is doing too good to come to that clinic.  He will just need to go to the Cardiology Clinic once a year or so. The test that he took yesterday showed that things were the same and not changed.
So we are glad for that news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Dreamer who is a procrastinator and a pessimist

So far behind with the feeling of giving up but here I go again.......... Once upon a time there was a family of four. The mother thought she would keep a blog about the everyday happenings in life.  She would post a few then a long span of time would go by and then a few more.  It wasn't that nothing ever happened in her little part of the world or that she was too busy to post. She was and is a good example of procrastination.  Her favorite words are tomorrow, later, soon, maybe, next time, we'll see, if and there are more. She is a dreamer..... if only it could be, if it was this way it would so much easier.... I wish I could be more like her.....  And she is a pessimist (which is a optimist with experience)  It is a good thing the rest of family is somewhat normal and that is what keeps her going.

nice January day for being outside

Abigail made her own tent while Joseph was at school

While looking at Ice Sculptures in downtown Waukesha he got to ride on the trolley. It was almost too warm for the ice but nice for us to be walking around town in January.

all dressed up (in her way) but
no where to go

February.... Abigail has her 3rd birthday. I found the doll house on Craigslist for a decent price.

big brother give sis a ride

March brought two visitors..... sadly one took some germs away with her.... nice she read to the children
A nice to it yourself hairdo.... and happy about it

Last of March came a trip down to Evansville IN during Joseph's spring break.  Downtown Evansville..... Ohio River is still high and out of its banks in some places.

We went to the Train Muesuem while downtown. There was a few train cars we could go through and inside they had made a little town with trains moving around.

Second weekend of April we went up to see Grandma Millie at Tammy's. Grandma was not doing very well that weekend. Abigail made friends with Buddy.

 Smile!!!
Joseph and Abigail enjoyed the pool at the hotel. Then we woke up Sunday morning to snow.

Walking around the farm...... well one gets the privilege of being pulled in the wagon..... nice of big brother
Under one of the trailers we found a birds nest. Must have been from another year and it made us wonder if the birds got to live there and raise a family

Little sister gets a bedtime piggy back ride from big brother

Joseph sang a two sentence solo at a May school program. I didn't know he was going to have a part like  that..... and it was probably a good thing I didn't.

Wisconsin River at Wisconsin Rapids.

Little sister trying to help big brother by tying his shoe
Joseph made lunch for Abigail and himself
Tent time..... and they slept there for the night to their delight

First weekend of June we went up to see Grandma Millie.
Showing Grandma some art work
Cooking and eating out

When we planned to go up we didn't realize it was graduation weekend.  Four cousins graduated.... Rebecca, Caleb, Ashley and Jessi (not pictured)
Road work began on Hwy 59.  It was very interesting to see how they did it...... less interesting when trying to get to work.
Swim lessons started.  He looks a bit scared.....

Met Hunter and Blaine at Cushing Park....

Daddy's Day
Grandpa Sam and Grandma Mary came for a visit towards the end of June.  Made a trip to the zoo. One day we went Milwaukee to see Lake Michigan (forgot to upload pictures)

I think Abigail would have let the grand parents push her in the swing all day. My Dad said that Abigail told him to come outside and push her. I said well what did you do.... he says I pushed her... she is making the plans.
There was a little festival in Wales at the park.
Too many pictures to post at once..... guess that is why one should do it on a weekly schedule
